Specific incidents of credit card fraud usually don’t show up on your credit report, but if someone else has fraudulently applied for credit in your name, then these details could be included on your credit history file.

On the other hand, if you have ever fraudulently attempted to get credit or avoided an obligation to pay credit, this information could be listed on your credit report and affect your ability to apply for new products.
